However, the mycological cure rate with diflucan is very low, just 31.2%. When compared with lamisil and sporanox, diflucan cure rate is still low. Sporanox cure rate reached 61.1%, and even lamisil can cure nail fungus to 75%. We can conclude that diflucan is less effective than lamisil and sporanox in the treatment of nail fungus. Some side effects diflucan also reported. Diflucan (fluconazole) side effects include headache, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.     forget lamisil or anything else taken orally – why would you want to put something throughout your body for something that affects less than 1% of it – get a topical solution.

    because topical solutions don’t work for fungi that grow underneath your nail. Although I also took Lamisil twice to no avail. Personally I don’t think there IS a cure…
